Hike for Health at Little Bear Trail | Saturday, April 25 | 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

🌷 Connecting with nature can positively impact our physical, mental, and emotional health. Join Chelan-Douglas Land Trust and Columbia Valley Community Health on a Hike for Health on Saturday, April 25th from 9:00am-11:00am at Little Bear Trail.

Participation Detail & Raffle:

🌸 The guided walk will begin at 9:15 am and end at 11:00 am. During the guided walk, you will learn about the area’s plants, wildlife, and history. The event is open to all ages and will be in English and Spanish. 

🌸In April, we will explore Little Bear Trail in Chelan with our friends fromChelan Pride. This trail is located at Lake Chelan State Park, which requires a Discover Pass. We will have a limited number of Discover Passes to loan, at no cost. Please let us know if you will need one. The walk will be about 2 miles total on a compacted trail. The trail wanders through pine forest punctuated with grasses ande bitter brush, as well as a view of Lake Chelan. 

🌸Registration is optional, but it gives us a sense of how many people to expect. Plus, you will receive a confirmation email with more details regarding the event and a reminder email two days before the event. 

🌸 Join us and get entered to win fun and exciting outdoor-related items. You do not have to participate in the guided walk to receive a raffle ticket entry.Go on a hike any time and email us a photo of you out on the trails to enter.

Accessibility: 

  • There are bathroom facilities at Lake Chelan State Park.

  • There are several benches along the Little Bear Trail.

  • The trail is compact soil with mostly shaded areas.

  • The hike is 2 miles long with minimal uphill sections.

  • Carpooling is available. Please let us know if you need a ride in the notes below. 

  • Leashed dogs allowed
